Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of South Union Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania

An ordinance of the Township of South Union regulating the growth of weeds, bushes and other vegetation on property located in the Township of South Union.

An ordinance describing regulations governing the installation, construction, inspection of electrical wiring systems, equipment and other facilities utilizing electrical energy for light, heat, and power in or on any building, structure, or premises located in the Township of South Union, and of promoting the public welfare and safety, and repealing any conflicting ordinance of the Township of South Union.

An ordinance establishing minimum standards which will provide safeguards against the hazards of inadequate, defective or insanitary plumbing installations: providing for the issuance of permits, making of inspections, providing penalties for the violation thereof and repealing ordinances inconsistent with this ordinance of the Township of South Union.

Establishing minimum standards governing the condition and maintenance of dwellings: establishing minimum standards governing supplied utilities and facilities and other physical things and conditions essential to insure that dwellings are safe, sanitary, and fit for human habitation: establishing minimum standards governing the conditions of dwellings offered for rent: fixing certain responsibilities and duties of owners and occupants of dwellings, and the condemnation of dwellings unfit for human habitation: demolition of such dwellings: fixing penalties for violators, and repealing any inconsistent ordinance of the township of south union.

An ordinance governing the design, construction, alteration, 'enlargement, equipment, repair, demolition, removal, conversion, use, occupancy, and maintenance of all buildings and structures; known as the building code; providing for the issuance of permits, collection of fees, making of inspections, providing penalties for the violation thereof; declaring and establishing fire limits; and repealing any conflicting ordinance of the Township of South Union.

Establishing fire lanes at commercial buildings and other places of public assembly for the purpose of preventing conditions hazardous to the life or property in the use or occupancy of buildings or premises used for public assembly in the Township of South Union; providing penalties for the violation thereof.
